The Applied Artificial Intelligence Unit at EURECAT is looking for an experienced AI Data Scientist to lead industrial and research projects focused on the development and application of advanced AI and data-driven solutions.
Our team works at the intersection between research and industrial implementation, collaborating both with private companies and within competitive national and European R&D programmes. We develop solutions for process monitoring, prediction, optimization, decision support and autonomous operation across a wide range of industrial sectors.
You will join a multidisciplinary research team where you will have the opportunity to lead projects, interact directly with industrial and research partners, shape technical solutions and contribute to the definition of future R&D activities.
The position combines technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence with project leadership. You should have a strong AI background and hands-on experience that allows you to understand the technologies, define appropriate technical approaches, participate in the research activities and guide the project’s team to a success.
You will work with technologies ranging from advanced Machine Learning and time-series analytics to surrogate modelling, physics-informed AI, Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI, continuously exploring emerging technologies and solutions that can generate value in industrial environments.
